Fletcher C. Smith

Owner/President

Fletcher Smith founded Counterscapes in 1989 and has lead the company for over 35 years. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Terry Horton

Business Development

Terry served in the United States Air Force and was discharged in 1979. Terry has been in the construction industry for well over forty years, and owned a commercial subcontracting firm until he retired in 2022. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Champagne-Urbana.

Maddie Forsythe

Chief Estimator - Sr. Project Manager

Maddie has been with Counterscapes since 2020, starting as the Commercial Estimator and working her way up to Chief Estimator, overseeing all projects. Maddie has lead projects such as Christus Institute for Healthy Living in Longview, North East Texas Oncology in Tyler, and Brookshire’s Warehouse in Tyler, among many others.

Jenn Kennedy

Accounting

Jenn have over 30 years of office experience in a variety of fields. She started at Counterscapes in August of 2023. Jenn prides herself on making sure that the customer is happy from the start of the project to the end.

John Kennedy

Production Manager

John has over 35 plus years of fabricating and installation in many area of business. He started at Counterscapes in September of 2022. John has worked on almost all of our Christus Mother Francis projects as well as many of our residential projects. John has a great attention to detail and will make sure that he does not take any shortcuts.

Austin Blevins

CNC Manager

Austin was born and raised in Wisconsin. He attended Fair River High School and learned CNC and Manufacturing. He moved to Texas in 2022 and currently uses skills learned in school to design and produce Solid Surface walls, countertops, and more.
